AUGMENTED REALITY

Today we have been shown how AR can be used in class. It is an attractive way to present materials to students in order for them to be more motivated. There are different apps to scan images, such as Blippar and Quiver Vision.

Quiver Vision has got a bank of worksheets to print out. Students colour them and then, they scan them using the app.

Then, Eva has told us her own experience creating AR materials. She has shown us how easy it is to create them. Students basically create two images (one to scan and the other one containing information) and then upload them on Blippar. She has also used HPreveal to scan images.

I think it would be interesting to ask students create AR materials since they can work in groups and even those with a lower English level can feel motivated.
